What if the AI makes a mistake or doesn't know the answer?
It never makes things up. If it doesn't know, it says so, notes the question and offers to take the customer's details so you can call back. You then see every unanswered question in your dashboard — you improve your description, and the AI improves.
Can it transfer the call to me live?
Not yet. Today, when a caller asks for a human, the AI takes their name and number as a priority and texts you right away — you call back when you're free. Live transfer is on our roadmap.
Will my customers know it's an AI?
Yes, on purpose. Within the first seconds it introduces itself as your business's virtual assistant and announces recording. Transparency protects your reputation — and it's the law.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep your number. You simply enable conditional call forwarding (a 10-second code with Bell, Rogers, Telus, Vidéotron or Fizz): Loquava only answers when YOU don't.
Is recording calls legal?
Yes. Recording is announced to the caller at the start of the call, and your data is hosted in Canada (Canada Central region). Loquava is built to comply with Québec's Law 25: announced consent, data in Canada, and access/deletion rights designed in from the start.
How long does setup take?
About 5 minutes: describe your business, add your services and hours. The AI relies on YOUR words to answer.
Does it book real appointments, without double-booking?
Yes. The agenda is built in: the AI sees your real availability and books directly. A taken slot is taken — no double-booking. You can also manage everything manually in the portal.
What happens when I reach the free plan limit?
The AI keeps capturing callers' details (up to 10 per month), then a courteous unavailability message takes over. No surprise bill — the free plan never costs anything.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. No contract, monthly. You cancel in two clicks; your data stays exportable.
Which languages are supported?
French, English and Portuguese from the first call, with automatic detection — the caller chooses nothing. More languages are understood; these three are prioritized.
Where does my data and my customers' data go?
At rest, in Canada (Azure Canada Central region). Real-time voice processing passes through subprocessors bound by contract. Full details are in our privacy policy.
What if nobody calls for a month?
The Découverte plan stays free. After a long period of inactivity, we warn you before releasing the number; your data and settings stay intact if you come back.
